UNICA is opening a call for the position of Secretary General for a term of office of four years (renewable).
About UNICA
UNICA is an institutional network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe founded in 1990, currently bringing together 54 universities from 41 European capitals. UNICA aims at building on the specific profile of its members to widen and strengthen international collaborations, engage academic leadership, and facilitate networking among academic communities through understanding and sharing between its Members throughout the European Higher Education and Research areas.
The role of the Secretary General
The Secretary General works in close cooperation and under the supervision of the President and of the Steering Committee for the development and implementation of the network’s vision and mission. They are responsible for driving, executing and monitoring the yearly work plan and strategic plan. They manage the UNICA Secretariat’s team, which coordinates the implementation of all the activities of the network and provides support to facilitate and foster cooperation among the members universities and with external partners and stakeholders.
